The variety of the work, the responsibility for driving business value, the ability to engage at a detailed level with developers.

What do you hate about being a Product Manager?

People not understanding the importance of Product! Commercial types thinking that they can just hire an Agency and that will be good enough; technical types thinking that they can write their own requirements (shudder).
