I'm sure most people have a smart concise answer about their skill set I suppose my answer is not being afraid of asking the 'Stupid' question & not being afraid to tell the truth no matter how unpopular that statement may be.
I really love being across all elements of the product and working with Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Sales, Marketing, Operations, QA. But the best thing is taking something from the idea generation stage to the day of launch and seeing it used by customers
I really hate handing over a product to another team or leaving a company/division because I become very attached to products and the only think I can compare it to is like handing over your children to someone. That probably says more about me psychologically rather than any ability I have as a Product Manager!
I think that product tank has started to legitimise Product management as a discipline and although we're still in the infancy of Product Management this group has the potential to really define the role in the UK
