This was my first time at ProductTank. The speakers did a great job and the and subject matter was relevant. I found being able to share thoughts, ideas and experiences with like-minded people very valuable.
I thought that it was a great start of something that could be really big in the region. But that is the key making it regional and opening it out beyond Manchester.
Its good to know that we're not alone in the north and that we all have things to learn from each others experience
Hi gave a similar talk than the one last year. This was the only event that he did for free in London though (Leancamp was paid, BLN was paid, Tech Hub was paid,...)
Whirlwind talk by Eric who was obviously on a roll. Really vibrant buzz from the preceding Leancamp participants who stayed to mix and chat. Well done Sal for organising that.
Good explanations given to the many questions which could have carried on all night! Thanks to Uberlife many did in the pub afterwards.
Also many thanks to The Product Tank team for organising it and UCL for hosting. Oh and Thanks Eric (MVP) Ries - good luck with the book sales!
buzz created by the Leancamp participants
Eric Ries is an engaging talker. Full of great anecdotes and a lot of common sense.
Really enjoyed the event. I hadn't been before (always booked before I could join). Thanks to all for organising and providing free beer as well!
I really liked the informal approach to describing how agile was used within different organisations. Fantastic how the culture element came up time and time again.
ProductTank provides an opportunity for Product Managers working for (or wanting to work for) web companies in London to exchange ideas and experiences about Product Management, Business Modelling, Metrics, User Experience and all the other things that get us excited.
Events include talks from guest speakers on topics around product management, networking opportunities, and a good old-fashioned chin-wag over a beer or two.
We're open to companies big and small. We also welcome early-stage technology businesses looking to learn how to get their ideas off the ground.
We also have a blog and encourage the community to get engaged by commenting on or writing new posts for http://www.mindtheproduct.com
